ACMP Metro & Eastern New York

Newly Elected Officials

President: Patricia Reyes

As a founding member of ACMPNY, I have had the privilege of witnessing our chapter's growth and evolution over the years. Now, I am eager to take on a leadership role to continue advancing the field of change management in our region. With over 15 years of industry experience in change management, I have honed my skills and knowledge in a variety of settings. Whether working with Fortune 500 companies or local non-profits, I have dedicated my career to fostering successful transformations and guiding organizations through change with precision and empathy.

As a longtime New Yorker and a New Jersey working professional, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities presented in our vibrant and dynamic cities. I am deeply committed to ensuring that ACMPNY remains a valuable resource for our members and the broader community. In addition to my extensive experience, I hold several change management certifications that reflect my dedication to professional excellence. These certifications have equipped me with the tools and expertise to navigate complex change initiatives successfully. I envision an ACMPNY chapter that continues to lead the way in the world of change management. My goal as President is to provide innovative resources, foster collaboration, and advocate for change management as an indispensable discipline in our region.

I am excited about the opportunity to serve as your President and drive the vision forward. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to working together to shape the future of ACMPNY.

Vice President: Jamie Mowers

My educational background includes training in social work, mental health, and public health with a focus in policy and management. My career has kept me primarily in the world of nonprofits, state and local government where I was introduced to change management as a method to support people, communities, and organizations to adapt to changing needs, priorities, circumstances, or requirements.

Like so many others, I was doing change management before I knew that is what it was called. I worked with the local health departments across the state to implement public health detailing (a change management practice of its own), essentially building a public health change network to help educate and train medical providers and community partners on ways to address the varying public health priorities in the counties. With this project I found a passion and have since continued to work in the chance management space in a more formal capacity. I am certified in the Prosci and Kotter methodologies and have spent time working on several large scale change initiatives including data system transformations, program roll outs, and advising on culture shifts.

For the last several years, I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the
ACMPNY Chapter. Being part of the establishment of the Chapter as the group finalized official affiliation with ACMP Global has been a highlight reel worthy initiative and I have been honored to serve as the ACMPNY Chapter Secretary for the last two years.

I am excited about the future of the change management discipline and how our Chapter can be a part of shaping that future by sharing expertise, connecting passionate change management professionals, and broadening the awareness of change management as a crucial component in the success of change initiatives.
